Biography
My name is Karen Gross and I am an attorney, facilitator, adjunct professor and social justice advocate with an entrepreneurial spirit. For the past few years, I have focused on the question: how do we reduce polarization in society? I founded Citizen Discourse, a training company facilitating learning experiences to foster community and emotional intelligence skillbuilding, in hopes of addressing this concern.
I love building a vision, connecting with people, sharing food and new experiences, and I value authenticity, accountability, and inviting wonder.
Why I support the Compassion Coalition
I believe in the power of collective action, allyship, and coalition-based work. My roots are in grassroots organizing and working for justice and change one conversation at a time. I appreciate the invitation to be a part of this effort and look forward to contributing where and how I can.
