Volunteer Fundraiser

Role purpose

To provide advice and support as the GCC develops it’s fundraising strategy.

Hours

5 hours per week (though more is welcome)

Key tasks

• To work with the GCC leadership team to identify sources of funding 
• To help develop the GCC’s fundraising strategy and pitch
• To help manage the execution of fundraising projects
• Liaise with funders – including individuals and organizations.

Useful skills/experience to have

• Background in fundraising
• Strategic thinking
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts
• Excellent communication skills
• Ideally existing contacts with funders.
