I’ve worked at CNN, founded a news site, authored a children’s poetry book, and host Raw, a podcast on navigating conflict with humanity.

Living in a region shaped by conflict, I’ve learned that compassion is not automatic—it must be cultivated. Through my work in journalism, mindfulness, and parenting, I strive to nurture the clarity, courage, and connection that allow compassion to emerge, even in the most polarized and painful of spaces.
