Faithful Church Of Jesus Saviour Malawi is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth and children through education. It provides mentorship, advocacy, and scholarships to help young minds unlock their potential and build a brighter future. Its mission is to improve access to education, reduce dropout rates, and inspire creativity for children and youth.
The organization works with vulnerable children and youth through a literacy campaign and has managed to reach two districts. Founded in 2012 as a Christian group, its charity work with children began with opening a nursery school to assist its children. This initiative expanded, with pastors from various denominations adopting the model and opening nursery daycares at their branches. The group raises children and prepares them for primary school.
Recognizing that children often struggled to start primary school even after nursery, the organization began providing essential materials like uniforms, exercise books, and pencils, as primary school is free in Malawi. The team also observed that many vulnerable children selected for secondary school couldn’t attend due to a lack of fees. While passionate about this issue, the organization currently struggles to support all selected students due to financial constraints. As a Christian group, it is actively seeking assistance with school fees and other materials like exercise books, pencils, and uniforms.
