The Such As I Have Project – Uganda was initiated by Peter and his three friends to give much-needed compassionate interventions to help those living in poverty.
We run three specific projects aimed at making such interventions:
- In education, we encourage donations to support the schooling of our young children. We organize to pay for children’s tuition, uniform, and equipment. 56 children are currently benefiting from this project.
- To create a safe environment, we also run the “Green Eyes Project”. The name comes from our ambition: to plant so many trees that when we look into the eyes of a neighbor, we see the green of the world reflected back at us. This initiative has been supported by a grant from the Pollination Project.
- Finally, we offer targeted support to young people with special educational needs. Currently this project is supporting Barbara – a girl with profound needs who has been abandoned by her parents. We are crowdfunding to get Barbara the help she needs to live a decent life: please consider donating what you can to help her.
