In this talk, university professor, business consultant, and author of the book "The Art of Compassionate Business", Bruno Cignacco, and consultant and Chair of the GCC Economy Working group Milja Franck, seek to answer the question: is a humane business possible? They will look at examples of businesses that have a humanitarian ethos, discuss the challenges they face operating in a profit-seeking environment, and look at why we need an entirely new way to think about the role of business - one where their primary function is to do good in the world.

For over 30 years, he has advised and trained hundreds of companies on international marketing and other business topics. He is a university professor at several institutions in UK. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA – UK). His new book is titled “The Art of Compassionate Business” (2nd Edition, Routledge).
