Our mission to create a world based on compassion

What will it take to create a world that benefits everyone, not just a select few?

To achieve a world that works for everyone, we need a large-scale coalition involving millions, potentially billions, of people and organizations globally. This coalition should prioritize compassion and justice as the core principles of all societies and work diligently towards these goals with a long-term vision, aiming for significant progress by the end of the century. While I may not live to see the end of the century, my children and their potential descendants might. It’s not as distant as it seems.

We’ve initiated the Global Compassion Coalition, which you can learn more about at globalcompassioncoalition.org. This coalition aims to support those involved in the science, education, application, and advocacy of compassion, helping them enhance their efforts. Our goal is to launch a multi-year, possibly multi-decade, campaign to influence culture and politics, embedding compassion and justice deeply into societal structures. 

Additionally, we plan to undertake major flagship projects that are inherently valuable, such as eradicating child hunger, neglect, and abuse worldwide, or limiting global temperature rise to three degrees Fahrenheit. These projects not only address critical issues but also foster a stronger civil society, which is essential for effective governance. Historically, since the advent of agriculture, governance has often been dominated by power struggles, but we aim to restore the common truth, welfare, and justice that characterized hunter-gatherer societies, which humanity has experienced for the majority of its existence.

Our mission is ambitious but serious. We need widespread support to achieve these grand objectives. The 21st century, with the advent of the internet and other technologies, offers unprecedented opportunities for global unity. By coming together across various divides—national, ethnic, and others—we can work as a unified human tribe to create a better world for all.
