Biography

I have joined GCC because I genuinely believe that the most powerful and effective solution to all the world's dysfunctions, be it on a personal, interpersonal or global level is compassion. What is amazing about compassion is that it requires intelligence/wisdom/deeper understanding to experience compassion. So it already entails a higher form of awareness.

Anahita Moghaddam is the founder of Neural Beings, a New York- based company dedicated to serving organizations and individuals who aspire to have a substantial positive impact in the world. For the past 10 years, Anahita has worked as a coach to executives, entrepreneurs and emerging leaders, including world-renown economists, thought-leaders and CEOs, facilitating workshops and organizational trainings, and speaking at events around the world. She is a student of the 14th Dalai Lama, and her work is rooted in Contemplative Science. She has been trained by leading scholars and scientists in the fields of psychology, Buddhist philosophy and neuroscience at the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science in New York. Anahita received her BA in Marketing & Advertising at the London School of Communications and her MA in Social Anthropology at The School of Oriental and African Studies, London. Prior to founding Neural Beings, Anahita worked for European media agencies, producing macro-economic country reports for Forbes, the Washington Post and The Times of London. She lived and work in Croatia, Botswana, Indonesia and the UAE, interviewing senior political and business leaders, gaining insight into their mindsets as well as their potential for positive impact. Anahita is Iranian-German and currently lives in Hamburg.
