I have joined the GCC with a simple belief in mind: the more energy we invest in division, the more division we get. The more we invest in compassion, the more compassion we get. Our world can benefit from a heavy infusion of compassion these days.

Daniel Shapiro, Ph.D., is an acclaimed negotiation scholar and practitioner, founding director of the Harvard International Negotiation Program, and associate professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School/McLean Hospital. He advises government and business leaders, hostage negotiators, and families in crisis, and is affiliated with the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
