Why I support the Compassion Coalition

As a highly mediocre undergraduate student, I wasn't afforded the same opportunities as some of my more aspirational peers. What professors didn't know was that my performance in the classroom was directly linked to a very challenging personal experience. Because of this, I am driven to provide compassion at the highest level to the students in the classroom and the lab. I see the Global Compassion Coalition as a way to drive this work forward and expand it past Clemson University.
