This movement aims to foster a culture of compassion and understanding among the citizens of the Philippines. More than an ideal, the movement creates traction for a better Philippines by philosophically engaging the emotional and intellectual facets of the people to effectively carry out the value of compassion every step of the way. In so doing, the Philippine society can overcome regional barriers, political apathy, and various psycho-social barriers to inclusivity, dialogical understanding, profound social connection, and truthful awareness. While it is considerably ambitious to eradicate all obstacles to a compassionate society, it does not aim to be a spawning ground for future ideologues. Thus, the measure of its effectiveness is not only measured by its mass following and massive social display of support, but how deeply it has affected the lives of its members and various stakeholders. It is goal-driven, yet it puts into context all its intentions and undertakings so as not to sweep away the value of compassion that naturally flows from love and genuine commitment. Ultimately, it is a movement that aims for a compassionate society but is open to critical and ever-enriching collaborative efforts, emerging understanding, and flexibility to new challenges.
